Our Interview Preparation Packages
A USCIS marriage-based interview can be an important step in the adjustment of status process. Our interview preparation services are designed for couples who have already submitted their immigration paperwork and want structured preparation before appearing at a USCIS field office. Whether you need an initial mock interview or comprehensive case preparation and attorney representation, we offer three preparation packages designed around different levels of review and support.
PACKAGE 1: Initial Interview Assessment.
Ideal for couples who want general preparation for their AOS interview. It includes:

1-on-1 Mock Interview with Attorney Santamaria: Practice frequently asked questions so you can get an idea of how the USCIS officer will ask questions. Note that the questions will be general marriage questions (e.g., dating questions). We will not focus on possible background (inadmissibility) questions, which would be more appropriate for package 2.

Written Diagnostic Performance Report: Receive a detailed breakdown of strengths and weaknesses of your performance. For example, we will assess whether you gave sufficient answers and mention any red flags based on your responses.

Tailored Second Mock Interview: If you want another mock interview, for the second one we will focus specifically on correcting weaknesses from your first mock interview and ask more personalized questions (extra fee per interview).
What package 1 doesn’t include: AOS marriage interview question bank, case review, etc. Please see package 2
PACKAGE 2: Full Case Audit, Document Master Checklist & Question Bank.
Ideal for couples who want their submitted case and supporting evidence reviewed before the interview.

Two Mock Interviews: The first mock interview will assess the strength of your case by asking you commonly asked interview questions and spotting areas of concern. The 2nd mock interview will improve on the first interview.

Comprehensive Case File Audit: We will review your submitted I-130/I-485 for inconsistencies. We will also check for any inadmissibility issues (e.g., previous convictions that we should strategize about). Depending on issues that we find with your case, we will either advise you to update your case file or bring updated documents to your interview (if so, we may assist with updating your case file with USCIS for a separate fee).

Decade-Long Local Question Bank: Access to actual questions asked at San Francisco & San Jose Field Offices. This is a resource you can keep.

Day of Interview Checklist: Comprehensive checklist of what to bring to the interview. This checklist includes updated evidence of your bona fide marriage, among other things.

PACKAGE 3: Full Physical Attorney Field Office Representation.
Ideal for couples who want accompaniment to the interview. It includes:

Complete Package 2 Preparation: Case audit, question bank, document checklist, and mock interviews.

Physical In-Person Attorney Representation: Dr. Marc Santamaria or another experienced attorney accompanies you directly inside the San Francisco or San Jose USCIS Field Office to accompany and protect your rights under 8 C.F.R. § 292.5.

Post-Interview Assessment: We will debrief you on how the interview went and we will advise as to next steps.
